Unveiling of the Firstever "Made in Nigeria" Cars- Model IVM Fox and IVM UMU

 

 

It was like a dream come true for Nigeria when over the weekend, the Giant of Africa unveiled its first ever "Home manufactured cars "by an indigenous Company, Inooson Vehicles Company ( IVC)

 

The said cars were made in two models. IVM Fox and IVM UMU as endorsed by the Nigerian Trade and Investment Minister, Olusegun Aganga.

 

Innoson Vehicles Company is located in Nigeria, Anambra State, the South East region of Nigeria.

 

On commending the new invention and innovation, the Minister of Trade and investment added that " by producing a truly made – in Nigeria car, the IVC has enlisted Nigeria amongst the global map of car manufacturing countries

 

 

In his statements, the Anambra state Governor commended the Chief Executive Officer (CEO ) of IVC, Dr. Innocent Chukwuma in expanding the states industrial base.

 

Before Now , Nigeria has lost its taste for exportation as almost everything within its coffers are imported to as small item as " Tooth Pick" little wonder why the level of industrialization in the country is close to Zero with oil as its greatest investment portfolio for Importation

 

Nonetheless, these self – made cars are coming to light at a time when the country is witnessing adverse security and economic situations, dwindling oil prices, devalued naira, civil unrest and enigmatic blood bathe situations with incessant bomb explosions topping the list

The civil unrest ravaging the Nigerian Economy inspite of daily records of death seems not to have affected the music industry in the country as 26^th November marked the 19^th Edition of the Nigerian Music Video Award (NMVA ) 2014 at the Eko Hotel and Suites Victoria Island Lagos which was hosted by DJ Jimmy Jatt themed " A World without Violence "

Findings revealed that the NMVA was dedicated to appraise Nigerian Musicians of the essence of peace in an environment already almost overtaken by violence.

Fresh Nigerian Graduate Lost life at Jubilation

Tragedy struck yesterday as a fresh graduate of the Imo State University took his last breath as students poured him water in jubilation of final year completion. What seem to be jubilation turned into a gathering of sorrow when the victim was running away from a number of students who pursued after him to pour dirty water on him. In that quest to dodge the water being poured on him, he fell into a soak-away pit and got drowned. The dirty water from the pit however is partially passing a light current as the pit is dug beside their transformer where earth-wire is buried. Pouring of water has been banned in schools but some students would not obey this. Many students in this light unaccepted celebration of final papers have been injured, poured acid and some other dangerous liquids while some other persons have gone to the great beyond via this. I think every final year student should learn from this as well as those who dedicate them to pouring water on university finalists.
